WHY WOULD INSTALLING A NEW CAR STEREO CAUSE MY HEATER, CLOCK AND CENTRAL LOCKING KEY FOB TO STOP WORKING?

I just installed a goodmans cd player into a toyota hiace van after about ten minutes it would not power up.On reading the install manual it said to switch the 12v memory power to the 12v ignition power and this should solve the problem.this did allow the stereo to work properly however now the heater,clock and central locking does not work.What would cause this problem?|||you blew a fuse (very unlikely that its a relay because none of those things work together but they could share a fuse)|||i would check the fuse box or boxe's first you may have shorted a wire
