Can any car with central locking use a remote key fob to open it ?

have a 1997 ford escort Lx 1.5l petrol engine and it has central locking i was wondering if it can have a remote key fob because the lock is broken and its a real ***** to open you have to jigggle the key around and have it 3/4 of the way in the lock|||Only if it is a car which also has remote locking. Central locking means that if you unlock the driver's door, the other doors unlock as well. It's a fair bet that it was never fitted to your car.|||Yes you can add remote central locking to it you will have a remote control with is small you keep with your keys If you local to me I can do that problem|||Best thing to do is call the dealer parts department. give them the vin# and have them look up your car and see if it has the option.
