Hi, My cars central locking (C220 model) has stopped working all of a sudden.
The doors will not lock/unlcok using the key %26amp; i am using the key (metal) bit to open and close the doors manually. When i press the lock/unlock button on the key, red light flashes, so battery is fine i think.
Can someone please help/advise what might have happened and whats needed to be done to resolve the situation.

SS|||Most likely it is the vacuum pump which has gone south on you. There could also be a vacuum leak somewhere but that usually shows up as just one door not working with the central locking. If all of them go, it's usually the pump.|||try new battery, then turn the key to number 2 position and press the remote 2 times this should sync the alarm, remote %26amp; locking|||Hi ,
Your first move is to fit a new battery.Dont asume its ok just replace it !
