Can a central locking remote unlock another car?

Can a remote central locking remote from one car unlock a different car? Are the chances higher for a car of the same model and what are the chances of two cars being on the same frequency?|||The possibility is definately there, but more than likely it won't. The older the transmitter (and subsequently the car), the more likely it is because of less frequency allocations during the time the vehicle was built. Manufacturers did the best they could to make sure transmitters with the same freq were kept as far apart from each other as possible...same with key combinations.|||I don't see why it couldn't happen. I once owned a Ford Festiva. The keys would open other car doors.
