Car works ok, but central locking not working.key battery is ok, when starting the car, somtimes the hazsrd?

lights come on for about ten seconds, then go off.central locking work when you press the button in console, battery has not been on car for about 3 weeks, due to new gear box.|||Most probably the central locking needs resetting
