I bought a car in a garage but THE CENTRAL LOCKING AND ELEC. WINDOW is broken, but recently passed the mot?

the garage keep promising me they will fix it for me but it taking too much time of waiting. is there anything i can do bout it ? i mean what shall i do ?|||Neither of those things are requred to work to pass an MOT

You should not have accepted the car with the faults - they now have your money and you have a broken car - if they decide not to bother the only thing you can do is get someone else to fix it and then take them to court to try to get a County Court Judgement to force them to pay you. If they are sussed they will know there is no way to enforce such a judgement anyway.|||another shop|||If it was the drivers window not working.thats required to work to pass the mot, where i live,

the central locking does not, write a letter to the manager of the garage telling him you want the window fixed, and your lawyer advised you to do this, keep a copy of the letter give him a week to reply then go see him and be nice, cross your fingers.|||neither item are in an mot ...i own a mot station|||Neither are part of the MOT test.

Wayne, if you've had a car fail due to the drivers window I'm afraid you've been ripped off.
